Our Story

Founding

In 2012, Manuel Levi began his journey as a data scientist, working for organizations such as MIT and market leaders around the world. He helped these organizations automate processes and unlock the power of their data.

In 2017, after moving back to Portugal from London, Levi was disappointed by the state of data science in the country. He teamed up with Miguel Cabrita, another experienced data scientist, and together, in 2018, they founded Enlightenment.AI. Their goal was simple: to provide top-class data science services and help organizations understand the impact that data can have on their business.

Since then, Enlightenment.AI has worked with many clients to help them harness the power of data and automation. The company is dedicated to providing high-quality data science solutions that drive real business value and is proud of the impact it has had on its clients' success.

Our Data Strategy Approach

The FORCE methodology is a data strategy framework developed by Manuel Levi and used by Enlightenment.AI. It is designed to help companies identify and prioritize areas for improvement in their data strategy. In a world where each company lives in its own unique context, it can be overwhelming to define a company’s data strategy. FORCE offers a structured approach to this process.

The acronym FORCE stands for five key elements:

Foundation,
Observation,
Resilience,
Competence, and
Expansion.

The FORCE methodology provides a structured and holistic approach to data strategy, helping companies identify and address areas for improvement in order to achieve their goals and maximize their impact.

Our Data Science Approach

To be as effective as possible, our data science methodology is tailored to the specific needs and goals of the organization and is designed to deliver actionable insights and drive decision-making.

It is composed of five steps:

defining the problem, objectives, and expected impact;
gathering and cleaning data;
selecting and applying appropriate algorithms and models;
interpreting and communicating the results;
deploying results to production;
